మరపురాని మహానటి సావిత్రి

      15.9.1931 నాడు, స్వర్గీయ  H.M.Reddy Banner  క్రింద తొలి తెలుగు టాకీ సినిమా విడుదల ఐంది! నాటి నుండి నేటి వరకు ఎందరో మహా నటులు నటీమణులు తమ ప్రతిభ తో తెలుగువారినే కాదు, ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా ప్రేక్షకులను అలరించారు.నాటి నుండి నేటి వరకు ఎందరో ప్రవేశించి, వెళ్లి పోయినా,  తెలుగు నటీమణుల పేర్లు తలచుకోగానే గుర్తుకు వచ్చే మొదటి  పేరు...సావిత్రి!

     మాటలతో అవసరం లేకుండా మనసులోని భావాలను ప్రేక్షకుల మనసులలోకి సూటిగా నాటిన మహా నటీమణిగా,కేవలం తన కనుబొమల కదలికలతో,కనులలోని మెరుపుతో,పెదవి విరుపుతో, కదలికలలో నాట్యంతో ,కట్టిపడేసే లాస్యంతో, అనన్య  సాధ్యమైన  ఆంగిక అభినయానికి , సుమధురమైన  సుస్పష్టమైన  వాచికానికి,  ఆహార్యంతో  నిమిత్తం  లేని నటనకు  భాష్యంగా, అభినయ విద్యకు ' బడి 'గా,కాలపు పరదాల మాటున మరుగుపడని పాత్రల పలుకుబడిగా,తెలుగు సినిమా నిలిచి ఉన్నంత కాలమూ అభిమానుల గుండెలు గుడిగా నిలిచిపోయే అరుదైన నటీమణి సావిత్రి! 

     బాటసారులులో భగ్న ప్రేమికురాలిగా, దేవదాసును మౌనంగా గుండెలో ఆరాధించిన దాసిగా పార్వతిగా,మాయా బజారులో శశిరేఖగా,మాయా శశిరేఖగా,పాండవ వనవాసం, నర్తన శాల లో ద్రౌపదిగా, మిస్సమ్మ లో మిస్ మేరీగా,గుండమ్మ కథ లో సవతి తల్లి ఆరళ్ళను సహనంతో భరించి ఆమెను మార్చిన సవతి కూతురిగా, మూగ మనసులు లో కట్టుబాట్ల, సంప్రదాయాల చట్రం కింద నలిగిపోయి సంఘర్షణ ను  అనుభవించిన మూగ ప్రేమికురాలిగా, డాక్టర్ చక్రవర్తిలో అనుమానపు భర్తకు, తన కళను ఆరాధించే అభిమానికి మధ్యన నలిగిపోయిన  సున్నితమైన స్త్రీ  మూర్తిగా, కేవలం తనకు మాత్రమే సాధ్యమైన నవ్వుల కెరటాల తాకిడికి తనే నలిగిపోయిన   లోతులు తెలియని గంభీరమైన సముద్రంవంటి  మధురవాణి గా కన్యా శుల్కంలోను, ఇలా ఎన్ని పాత్రలలో ఆవిడ ఎంతగా ప్రేక్షకుల గుండెల్లో నిలిచిపోయిందో చెప్పడానికి ఎన్ని గ్రంధాలైనా సరిపోవు! ఆమె నిజ జీవితంకుడా మధురవాణి జీవితంలాగా ఆమెకూ, మనకు కూడా   అర్థం కాని 'రిడిల్' గా నిలిచిపోయింది!!

     గుంటూరు జిల్లా తెనాలి తాలూకా రావులపాలెంలో నిస్సంకర రావు గురవయ్య, సుభద్రమ్మ దంపతులకు డిసెంబర్ 6,1937  న జన్మించిన  సావిత్రి శాస్త్రీయ నృత్యాన్ని,శాస్త్రీయ సంగీతాన్ని నేర్చుకొని విజయవాడ వంటి పట్టణాలలో నృత్య ప్రదర్శనలు కూడా ఇచ్చారు! వెండి తెర మీదనే  కాక రంగస్థలం మీద  కూడా నటిగా  N.T.Rama rao  గారి  National Art Theatre తరపున, తను స్థాపించిన నవోదయ కళామండలి తరపునా అనేక ప్రదర్శనలు ఇచ్చి బుచ్చిబాబు గారి ఆత్మవంచన లో నాయకురాలిగా ఆనాటి రంగస్థల ప్రేక్షకులను ఉర్రూతలు వూగించారట! తెలుగు సిని పరిశ్రమలో కథా నాయకులతో పాటు సమానమైన ప్రఖ్యాతిని పొందిన తొలి, బహుశా, చివరి నటీమణి ఆమె! తెలుగు,తమిళం,కన్నడ,హిందీ భాషలలో మొత్తం 318  సినిమాలలో నటించిన సావిత్రి నిర్మాతగా, దర్శకురాలిగా కూడా తన ప్రతిభను చాటారు! వెండితెర జీవితంలో ఎంత విజయం సాధించిందో  నిజ జీవితంలో అంతగా అపజయం పొందింది ఆమె! ఎందరు వద్దని సలహాలిచ్చినా వినకుండా జెమిని గణేషన్ ను వివాహం చేసుకొని , విఫలమై ,ఆ బాధతోనే త్రాగుడికి,మత్తు పదార్ధాలకి బానిసై  కేవలం  44  సంవత్సరాలకే  26.12.1981 నాడు మరణించింది.

     తార జువ్వలా  'తారా' పథానికి దూసుకుని పోయి అలాగే నేలకు వ్రాలి పోయిన ఆ మహా నటీమణి తన బాధలను , అసంతృప్తిని నిరంతరం ఎదిరిస్తూనే ఎందరో విద్యార్థినీ విద్యార్థులు చదువుకోనడానికి ఎన్నో లక్షల రూపాయలను దానం చేశారు! ఒకసారి ఆ నాటి ప్రధాన మంత్రి లాల్ బహాదుర్ శాస్త్రి గారి వద్దకు లక్షల రూపాయల విలువైన తన బంగారు ఆభరణాలన్నీ ధరించి వెళ్లి , ఆయనతో కొంతసేపు మాట్లాడి  వచ్చేముందు తన భరణాలన్నీ వొలిచి , ప్రధాన మంత్రి సహాయ నిధికి విరాళంగా ఇచ్చారు! క్రికెట్ క్రీడ ను విపరీతంగా అభిమానించిన సావిత్రి ప్రఖ్యాత వెస్ట్ ఇండీస్ ఆల్ రౌండర్ గ్యారీ సోబెర్స్  నీ ఎంతగానో ఆరాధించేవారు! స్వయంగా తాను కూడా ఎన్నో చారిటి మ్యాచ్ లలో  క్రికెట్ ఆడారట ఆమె! చదరంగం కూడా చక్కగా ఆడేదట ఆవిడ, కాని, జీవిత చదరంగంలో మాత్రం విఫలమైనా, వొళ్ళు చూపించని వొద్దికైన నటీమణిగా  శాశ్వతంగా తెలుగువారి , కాదు, సమస్త  అభిమానుల గుండెలలో నిలిచి వుంటుంది ఆమె!  

The Phenomenon called Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar

• Character is the Key to the Treasure of Success, in every walk of life concerned with human beings.Sports and Games are no exception, for that matter, life itself is a big game which all of us play, knowingly or unknowingly, winning or loosing, or fairly ending it in a draw! Success often brings haughtiness, headstrongness and carelessness. Also, it is easy to be successful than to sustain it.But this individual called Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar did not allow his 'Triumph', not ordinary 'success', to get to his head, and also continued to be successful always, that is the wonderful thing about him.The only sad thing about his success story, what I feel is, his gigantic personality overshadowed the merits of others, which is not his fault, of course, others, awestruck at his merit, often lost themselves in the frenzy of lauding his laurels, and failed individually, that is why often when he got out after successful stints, the team collapsed, result, individually he was successful but collectively they failed, glaring example being his run-out in the one-day world cup semifinal against Sri Lanka, India was through, as long as he was in, when he got out, they were soon in the pavillion back! His immaculate character has a strong foundation in a cultured, humble and closely knit family, that is what kept him so humble and down to earth gentle, even after these many years of unquestioned superstardom internationally! How many exceptionally merited individuals perished in primes of their carreers, entyced by the luring success-fantacies, overnight stardom befell them, they could not handle the pressue of success, often success brings more preasure than what failure does, the likes of Indian batting prodigy, Azharuddin, Vinod Kambli, Hansi Cronje mainly succumbed to the weight of success that they could so easily gain but could not sustain! Recent photographs of even Mahendra Singh Dhoni, alongwith his better-half were not decent, but we never found such stories and photos of Sachin any where, that speaks of his individual and family culture! He at once looks like an introvert, in the positive sense of the term, and that is the main reason for his success, always thinking about himself and others as well...even the praising words about the Divine Mother Jagadambika say, "...Antharmukha Samaaradhya, Bahirmukha Sudurlabha...", which mean " You the Adored by the Introverts always, not accessible to the Extroverts!", just to quote an example, success is the same everywhere,may it be Science or Technology, or Philosophy or Warfare! only the places or fields of success change! and the real successful people never change even after conquering the whole world successfully. Alexander the Great was jubilant over his success in War, but Aristotle was not in the field of Wit! The Cool Breeze is always soothing, calm, serene and enduring, not the stormy, windy, turbulent and short lived Gale. Sachin is a Cool Breeze in both, the Life and The Game! I may repeat, Life itself is a Game, Game of Cricket! The Pancha Karmendriyas and the Pancha Gnanendriyas, under the Captain called 'Mind', these famous "Ekadasha Indriyas", attack you with Pace,that is Greed,entyce you with Spin of Temptations, sharp fielders called The Ari Shad Varga, or the Six Enemies always try to turn half chances into fatal ones, unlike what our Indian fielders often do, and there are mistakes of self called run-outs, often you get out played on also out of your own faults,and when required you are not allowed to have a by-runner, you are to run on your own in Life's Game of Cricket, nobody runs for your score! and if you come out of all these successfully,You Are Called Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, in both , The Game of Cricket and The Game of Life! Sachin, get going successful in the game of cricket and in the game of life!!! Great Speakers know when to end speaking, Great Writers know Where to end writing and put a full stop and Great Players know well when to stop playing!!

క్రిస్మస్ మరలా విచ్చేసింది! ప్రపంచంలో ఏ దేశంలోనైనా ఇంత పరమత సహనం ఎన్నడైనా కనిపించిందా? అని చాలా మంది
హైందవ భారతీయులు అనుకుంటూ వుంటారు! తప్పులేదు! నిజమే! అది గర్వకారణమే..కాని ప్రపంచం అంతా గుప్పిటిలోకి
వచ్చి ఎల్లలు అన్నీ కల్లలు ఐపోయాయి ఇప్పుడు..జిల్లా,రాష్త్రం (State),దేశం,ఖండం....ఈ భేదాలను లెక్క చేయ కుండా ఎంతమంది
ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా హైందవ భారతీయులు ప్రపంచం అంతా తమ పొట్ట చేత పట్టుకుని వెళ్లి, ఇస్లామిక్ దేశాలలో,క్రిస్టియన్ దేశాలలో తమ జీవికను కొనసాగించటం లేదు? అక్కడ మన దేవాలయాలను కట్టుకుని మన మతానికి ,ధర్మానికి చెందిన కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించడంలేదు? మడికట్టుకుని, గిరిగీసుకుని, ఏకాకులుగా బ్రతకడం వల్లనే భారతీయులు తమ గొప్పదనాన్ని ఇతరులకు తెలియ జెప్పలేక, ఇతరుల గొప్పదన్నాన్ని తాము గ్రహించ లేక అంధులుగా తయారై, తేలికగా ఇతరులకు లొంగి పోయి దాదాపుగా
పన్నెండు వందల సంవత్సరాలు దాస్యం చేసారు, ఇతర మతాలకు చెందిన పాలకులకు..కనుక మనమూ వ్యాపించాలి, మన జ్ఞానమూ వ్యాపించాలి , ఇతరులు మనను సహించాలి అంటే...మనము ఇతరులను సహించాలి..ఇది భారతీయులకు క్రొత్త కాదు..
ఇతరులను సహించడం అంటే మనను మనం మరిచి పోవడం కాదు! మన ఇంటికి అతిధులు వచ్చినపుడో,లేక మనం ఇతరుల ఇళ్ళకు అతిధులుగా  వెళ్లినపుడో ఎలాగైతే మనను మనం కాపాడుకొంటూ, కలసి పోతామో అలాగే..
ఈ ప్రపంచం లోకి అతిధులుగా వచ్చిన మనం మన మర్యాదను,ఇతరుల 
                         మర్యాదను కాపాడి  వచ్చిన చోటుకి వెళ్లి పోదాము
సహనానికీ,సామర్ధ్యానికి మధ్యన వున్న సన్నని 'రేఖను' తెలుసుకుందాము!
ఒక చెంప మీద కొడితే ఇంకో చూపించడం అవసరం లేదు..చెంప మీద కొట్టించుకొనే పరిస్థితి తెచ్చుకోవద్దు!!! చెంపలు పగుల కొట్టడమే పనిగా తిరిగేవాడికి గూబలు గుయ్యు  మనేలా చేయడము మానవద్దు!!
